Bridgewave's Gigabit and Fast Ethernet RF links provide high availability wireless point-to-point connections at full GigE and FastE data rates. They are point-to-point systems that transmit and receive simultaneously at full line-rate speeds with very low latency, providing the performance of physical fiber over a highly-secure wireless connection. Bridgewave products have been installed and are operating successfully at thousands of customer locations throughout the U.S. and abroad. Bridgewave RF deployments are providing high-capacity, interference-free links at up to 8000m distances.

Bridgewave links consist of a pair of fully-integrated outdoor radios that connect directly to premise switches or routers. The radios can be mounted on masts, on building walls, or even placed inside of windows, and are easy to install and maintain.

Enterprise customers use 60GHz (millimeter microwave) Bridgewave links to extend their LAN backbones between nearby buildings. To connect buildings over longer distances, FCC licensed Bridgewave E-Band 80GHz links are deployed. By extending LAN backbones between buildings, users can centralize servers to save IT costs and simplify administration, or distribute servers between buildings to provide for rapid disaster recovery. Bridgewave links are commonly used across multiple industries, including education, healthcare, government, finance, and media segments, as well as any application that requires connectivity between multiple buildings.

SiteB1 Network operators use Bridgewave links to provide private network services to enterprise customers or to implement "virtual fiber" distribution networks to deliver broadband services to residential or business users. Bridgewave links naturally combine with fiber optic cabling to create highly cost-effective hybrid fiber-wireless networks, where each technology is best suited.

With today’s ever-increasing demand for high-bandwidth data and low-latency VoIP applications, corporate enterprises have a growing need to bridge network connectivity amongst multiple buildings and sites. Within a business campus, across the street or across town, enterprises are finding that Bridgewave links offer fiber-equivalent capacity, reliability and security, without the costs and delays often associated with inter-building fiber optic cable deployments.
